Short and simple: If you have a PS3 and you're using audio via digital optical input, then this is the best one for your system because it doesn't connect too loose. I used a Monster cable fiber optic cable at first, but noticed that it would wiggle out of place very easily, so I decided to purchase the actual Sony version and it fits much much better!

I bought Sony's HDMI Cable earlier and was so impressed with it's quality that I ordered the Optical Audio Cable. I love the wire loom cover that protects the cable.

I could've bought HDMI for my PlayStation 3, but I didn't. For all of you who have an HDTV and a Sound System / Home Theatre and want to get out the most of their system, save $80 and buy Optical Audio cable and Component Video, it brings the same effect as HDMI but better, for you can have separate-dedicated audio and a crisper sound in your overall experience.
HDMI is great if you have only the HDTV but not a sound system. I bought these two cables, and I get much more feedback from it and configuration capabilities.
I'm telling you, it's worth it.
