I shopped around and was concerned this wouldn't be what I hoped: a good generic ps/2 keyboard. My concerns were assuaged with the "Alaska" keyboard. Alaska evidently is some Mexican company that uses Chinese labor to produce keyboards. I learned this from the label. Ultimately, this keyboard represents the benefits of outsourcing. Yeah, you may lose your tech support job or other mindless labor - but you get to buy a $4 keyboard on amazon and have it shipped for free.
Keyboard has good tactical feel - sort of like a proxy for an IBM thinkpad keyboard. The features are minimal. The cord is a little short. The backspace key is not the bar-sized, it's just a normal sized key. It's black. It's normal sized. It says "Alaska" on it. It's really not a bad looking keyboard.
